She serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Selected as a senior 2013-14 Fulbright Scholar in medicine in India, she researched ancient Ayurveda protocols to enhance immunity. Her mid-career PhD in Rasa Shastra (ancient Indian chemistry & pharmaceutics) at Banaras Hindu University, India focused on herbometallic medicines of Ayurveda.
