Bill has over 41 years of experience in management which includes 17 years in the restaurant industry and 28 years in ministry. He began his career in 1979 as a store trainee with Wendy’s, rapidly progressed to General Manager. He was then promoted to District Manager and served in that position for eleven years. Bill obtained expertise in budget planning, management career development, quality assurance, human resources, recruiting, and facilitation.Bill started in full time ministry as an Associate Pastor for six years until the First Baptist Church of Waynesville called him for their Senior Pastor. He served as Senior Pastor for over fourteen years. Now as Director of Operations at ACHI for over nine years, he has gained additional expertise in volunteer development, counseling, fundraising, grant writing, human resources, public speaking, budget planning, and teaching. He completed two degrees while working full time: a Master of Divinity in Leadership and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University.
