The Services Delivery Consultant plays an integral part in the global Patent Analytics Group and is also a liaison with other services groups in the Patents Services Business, including services such as Search, Translation, LPO services, and other Thomson Reuters Global services teams as required. In addition the role is responsible for progressing customer interactions for analytical services, project scoping, project production coordination and project delivery, as well as delivering project results and providing local support for other service solutions across the IP portfolio (http://ip.thomsonreuters.com/).

In support of technical, patent/legal, and business needs, offer expertise and assistance in database content, indexing schemes, and search strategies to effectively retrieve, organize and analyze information from external and internal databases. Perform comprehensive searches of electronic and print information sources, including commercial databases and the Internet. Typical searches include those for technical background, IP landscape, business development, competitive intelligence, company/technology prior art, right to practice, patent validity, and citations. Analyze and organize search results to help our customers extract value from them and make decisions more quickly. Establish mechanisms for current awareness of new information. Train and consult with our customers to help them use desktop search tools.
