Contracted Support Engineer – Plano Sales Office. Technical member of Plano sales team assigned to the MCI account. Installed a 5 node Core Director system in the MCI Integration lab. Coordinated the ordering/arrival of bays and modules and performed the installation and software config of all Ciena equipment at the MCI lab site. Customized the ring configuration and NE software parameters for turn up of each of the CD and CI nodes. Trained the MCI certification engineer on the proper use of all equipment and provided support during the certification period. Coordinated support from the customer response team in Alpharetta, GA and provided feature demos of Core Director functionality to MCI management.

Lead Test Engineer - Core Switching Division. Verify and test proper operating performance of Core Director and related switching products. Install, operate and test CD and CI products using both the PC Node Manager and the Unix Switching Network Management platform. Provide high-level test plans for feature-based testing focusing primarily on the TUG3 SDH multiplexing scheme for Core Director.

Systems Engineer. Integrated development and test environments between Alcatel Network Management in Plano, Texas with Alcatel Network Management in Vimercate, Italy. Presented expert knowledge on SONET and feature capability of network elements 1680OGX and 1680OGM. Presented systems requirements and interpretation for development team in Vimercate.

System Test Engineer. Provided a lead role in testing the OC-192 BLSR, OC192 1+1 Linear and DWDM System Architecture and Functionality against external and internal requirements. Verified the Fault Management feature through design and implementation of feature driven test plans for the OC192 and WDM products.

SVT Test Engineer. Generate test procedures for network management testing. Troubleshoot TCP/IP, X.25, ACSE and 7-layer stack applications. Tested ATM over SONET.
