Dr. Edwards, has spent most of his professional career working on challenging/fun projects: - developed the first viable space elevator design, - designed and built the first optical cryocooler, - led space missions through creation, design, construction and operation and - even developed oceanographic sensors and autonomous deep ocean floats. Through these Dr. Edwards has established management experience from small world-class teams to entire organizations with staffs as large as 75 as well as start-ups. A panel member, session chairman, conference organizer and invited speaker at international conferences and even before congess with over 70 publications. Most recently Dr. Edwards has been developing mass production systems for long carbon nanotubes, easy dispersion in liquids, resins and epoxies and spinning them into thread. These developments are now used for stronger plastics for 3D printing, conducting epoxies, stiffer composites, anodes, plastic wires,... ... and yes we are looking for ambitious investors.
