I am a self-motivated, positive-thinker DDS, MPH, and entrepreneur. With experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, community outreach initiatives, public health, web development, and management. I'm curious, so that gave me a broad set of skills, flexibility and I´m always looking for new challenges. I Focus my work on delivering results and I can find the way to do it even in complex and unstructured scenarios. I feel comfortable while speaking in public and meeting new people. After graduating in Chile, I worked in different hospitals in Chile as an OMFS DDS honorary intern, public health centers, plus helped as an assistant professor at Universidad Mayor while obtaining my MPH degree. During that time, aiming to improve health access and decrease the cost of healthcare for global citizens I started Mejorate.com (get better in Spanish) a project that joins IT, health and social entrepreneurship concepts. It is a telemedicine-videoconference web and IOS platform that brings together doctors and patients. This way doctors could help patients anywhere in the world at a very low cost. Later, I obtained my second DDS from the University of Michigan.Today I´m an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident at Howard University Hospital and continue to help with side projects to promote public health.
