I believe that Happiness is a gift we give to ourselves. It is an inside job and that we have the ability, I like to think of it as a power, to be happy for no reason. I believe that thoughts create things, and we create our own joy and our misery. Our body and our wellness respond to what we believe about ourselves and we can teach our bodies to be healthy or sick. I believe that the giver becomes the receiver; that the gift of gratitude is love; the longer I live, the more I strive to achieve a state of grace, however, I am still learning exactly how to define "grace" - books don't help so I try to live it as best I can and so it unfolds to me each day - I believe we are all born perfectly perfect creatures and our conditioning causes us to believe we are "less than" - by freeing ourselves from our "mind spam" we begin to believe in this perfectly perfect and uniquely uniqu being - the one and only ME - and I am perfect because there is no other me so no one can be better that me. I believe I can only be happy when I live in the moment and the past is for learning and the future is for planning and the rest of the time is for living - moment by moment by moment. Wow - off the top of my head thats what I come up with!
