I am a creative thinker and educator, currently working as Manager in EY’s People Consulting Practice. I am an active researcher an author. My current work focuses on ways of teaching creativity, and examining unconscious bias. I have developed a series of workshops and seminars, aimed at the private sector, that seek to integrate creativity with personal development. In terms of academic writing, my specific research interests include; women on the contemporary Irish stage, the female body in performance, representations of feminisms and femininities in Ireland, sexual violence against women and the construction of a global ‘rape culture’, and navigating the sexual and sexualised female performer. My PhD dissertation title is, The Fourth Wave Fights Back: Deconstructing the Performativity of Rape Culture Through Contemporary Irish Theatre, Performance and Society. I am the host of 'Irish Theatre at Play', a podcast that aims to take an in-depth look at varied aspects of the theatre industry in Ireland, including; theatre review, guides to upcoming work, theatre history, 'how it works', and developments within the Irish theatre industry. I am the co-host of 'The Feminist Babysitter', a podcast that aims to open up the discourse around contemporary rape culture in Ireland and further afield.
