Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery DepartmentI initiated the study of patient-reported outcomes in my department using validated patient reported outcomes instruments (BREAST-Q). I also created interest in enhanced recovery after surgery, which resulted in my actively pushing ERAS forward at Houston Methodist Hospital. I also acquired private funding in order to study stress in medical residents learning a new technique.
