Professional scientist who has become a communications expert focussing on safety health and environmental issues and science and innovation. Experience gained in ICI over 25 years and between 1999 and 2006 at Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Associaiotn in Brussels where I led the European programme on the chemical industry's Responsible Care initiative and coordinated effort throughout the world at the global level. I played a lead role in the development of the new Responsible Care Global Charter which received praise from UN Secretary General Kofi Annan in February 2006.Specialties: I have a full range of communications expertise covering, press and media relations, external communications, stakeholder interaction, internal communications and sponsorship organisation. I also offer expertise runing and managing conferences and exhibitions, moderating meetings and I am able to develop bespoke crisis communications training courses. I develop product stewardship and sustainable development programmes and projects.
