Dr Boccalandro completed her specialty training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2001 and received a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at The University of Texas School of Public Health shortly after. Although Houston has been Dr. Boccalandro's home since 1996, she spent the first part of her life in Venezuela where she obtained a Medical Doctor degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas. She holds a double board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and has been practicing Endocrinology since 2001.
