Dr Daisy Bennett (GMC registered/licensed medical doctor, GP) is the Chief Medical Officer, L’Oréal UKI. She has a passion for Beauty inside and out, coupled with decades of experience in the NHS & Health sector. She is an expert in health & beauty, skin & safety. Her involvement in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion as ERG Chair, has ignited her passion for social responsibility, ethics & raising self worth for all through inclusivity. She is passionate about supporting the various L’Oreal charities & partnerships. She is honoured to be the elected Chair of the CTPA committees of the beauty industry national association, working towards ensuring a safe & responsible industry.Dr Daisy Bennett is a practising GP. She qualified from the world-renowned Guys & St Thomas's Hospitals, London (Kings College, University of London). She has been practising medicine for over 20yrs with degrees in medicine & surgery, as well as Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.She is active in medico-politics as the elected divisional Chair of the British Medical Association (BMA), representing 185,000 doctors in the UK&I. Through this role, she is involved in shaping health care policy in the UK. She has been invited to panel discussions on national health issues on the Health Committees at The House of Commons & House of Lords, UK Houses of Parliament.Dr Daisy currently regularly appears on Sky News to discuss topical medical & health related issues. She was the LBC global radio resident medical expert & broadcaster, answering medical questions live on the LBC Health Hour on Tuesday evenings with Clive Bull. Her father was an NHS Doctor & her mother a BBC world service Broadcaster, so it was inevitable that one day she would enter the world of medical broadcasting.She has been passionate about producing the next generation of top doctors, evident in her past role as GP Tutor & Examiner for medical students at Imperial College, London.She is committed to charitable work, as Ambassador for the women’s health charity, The Eve Appeal, & Ambassador for The Burma Star, proudly representing her heritage. She has had the huge honour & pleasure of meeting & working with King Charles III who is the Patron of the charity & Viscount Lord Slim. She loves a challenge & has recently taken up cycling. Her mental & physical limits were tested when she accepted the challenge of cycling over 300 miles from London to Paris to raise thousands of pounds for a children’s cancer charity. She enjoys travel, art & culture, tennis & golf.
