Dr Archer is a retired psychiatrist, best selling author and the founder of Archera Venture Capital, LLC.He attended Tulane University where he graduated with a philosophy degree with honors and was selected to dr Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended Tulane Medical school and completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Texas, San Antonio. He returned to his home state and founded Archer Outpatient services in 1988, which grew to be a multi location outpatient mental health system throughout southwest Louisiana. He also was the driving force in founding The Archer Institute, an inpatient psychiatric hospital.He’s the Best selling author of "Better Than Normal: How What Makes You Different Can Make You Exceptional”, as well as “The ADHD Advantage: What You Thought Was a Diagnosis May Be Your Greatest Strength” and “Chemical Imbalance: Depression”.He also has a long media career serving as a psychiatric expert on all the major TV networks. In addition he has hosted several call in self help radio shows as well as the internet based “The Dr Dale Archer Show”.As a serial entrepreneur, he founded and was the managing partner of Archera Venture Capital, LLC a private equity partnership.He is now retired and focuses on philanthropy and education re mental health issues as well as continuing to pursue his first love philosophy.
