I'm fascinated with play, parkour, research, the benefit-risk approach to health and safety, and community well-being. Exploring these topics has led me to work across academia, sport, local government, and the non-profit sector. Here, I've honed leadership and advocacy skills that drive impactful change.I'm particularly proud of pioneering the national local government play workforce programme developed by Sport NZ, a testament to my dedication to advancing innovative solutions. With eternal optimism, I am inspired by the opportunity to contribute to creating vibrant, inclusive communities where play is celebrated as a cornerstone of human flourishing.As a play advocate embedded in local government, my work cuts across the strategic incorporation of play within policy, capital infrastructure projects, urban design, service delivery, procedures, and professional development.
