I began as specialist in mass spectrometry and in organic geochemistry, and I have focused on work with companies that work on the biological conversion of hydrocarbons. My current focus is on international business development, and I have been working to expand my experience in operations in multiple countries, especially in the energy industry in Canada. Prior to the energy field, I was an analytical chemist for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where I worked on identification of contaminants in the food and drug supply. I am now working to bring quality natural products to market with my experience at the FDA and focus on making sound, scientifically valid business decisions. I earned my Ph.D. in analytical chemistry in 2009 from the University of Denver. I completed my undergraduate studies in biology and biochemistry at Regis University in 2003.
