Daniel Sindelar, DMD attended business school at St. Louis University and earned his dental degree at Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1981. He is a co-founder, past president, and board member of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH). He is the first dental professional to receive a Preceptorship for Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention. Over the last 14 years, Dr. Sindelar has played the key role globally in establishing oral pathogens causality of systemic disease including Cardiometabolics /Cardiovascular diseases and dementias including Alzheimer’s Disease. He is especially passionate about his research in Alzheimer’s disease. He is currently, through his work at Keystone Bio, involved with the development of a first-in-man bio-therapeutic and a companion diagnostic for both of these diseases.Dr. Sindelar has continued his business education by participating in a Harvard Executive Management Program focusing on founders of successful startups. He also has completed the Harvard Business School Certificate Program, Leading with Finance, focusing on valuations. Dr. Sindelar is a co-founder and current CEO of Keystone Bio, Inc since it’s inception in 2018. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and as a Director of Keystone Bio Pty Ltd. Dr. Sindelar has coordinated and finalized over $16 million in funding for Keystone Bio, Inc. He is a member of ISTAART and the Alzheimer’s Association Business Consortium since 2018. Dr Sindelar is the first dental professional to participate as an author of research in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease.
