Hi, I am a passionate and experienced synthetic chemist with a strong background in organic and inorganic synthesis, heterogeneous catalysis, small molecule separation, and X-ray crystallography. This expertise has enabled me to thrive in multidisciplinary collaborative research projects, where I effectively tackle complex problems and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries.My academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences, with a focus on flexible and semirigid bis(tridentate) ligands and their metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). This research experience allowed me to develop proficiency in designing and synthesizing novel multi-dimensional MOFs. I further explored their potential applications, particularly in the field of heterogeneous catalysis for important C-C bond-forming organic transformations.Currently, I am pursuing research at the University of Liverpool, where I am designing and synthesizing novel amino acid & peptide scaffolds and their flexible metal-organic frameworks (FMOFs) materials with precise control over structural formation. Subsequently, examining their ability for the sorption and separation of small molecules by constructing chromatographic columns packed with FMOFs. My hands-on experience spans synthetic organic chemistry (encompassing the synthesis of small organic molecules/ligands and organic transformations via heterogeneous catalysis) and inorganic chemistry (involving the synthesis of multifunctional MOFs). I am proficient in characterizing materials using various analytical techniques.
