I have worked in the field of clinical psychology for nearly 30 years. My areas of interest and expertise involve brain-behavior relationships (Neuropsychology), mind-body relationships (Health Psychology) and how to treat the various conditions that affect brain, mind, body and soul. Over the years I have held a variety of positions from front-line work to department head, but have most enjoyed the role of building a team of like-minded professionals trained in multiple health disciplines into a integrated holistic health care team at Partners in Healing of Minneapolis and our newly launched evaluation/teaching practice called the Institute for Brain-Behavior Integration.I am expanding my teaching, training and coaching practice to allow me to share what I have learned with other professionals and clients. My current goals are to split my time between my three main professional interests: 1) teaching & training of professionals and pursuing public speaking opportunities; 2) writing - I have several works underway, including Staying Sharp, to be published September 15, 2015 (co-authored with Henry Emmons, MD) about maintaining a youthful brain in the second half of life; and 3) maintaining my neuropsychological & psychotherapy practice, where my interests get to be applied in my work with my clients!Specialties: Neuropsychological practices; Clinical Hypnosis; Adult Psychotherapy, Mind-Body Medicine; Psychological Pain Management; Psychological Management of Gut Disorders; Professional Training
