At Catania site we manufacture sterile injectables for human use. To this aim I work within in the Quality System department by mainly executing internal (self inspections) and external (Vendor) audits. Part of the role is to cooperate in maintaining a state of GMP compliance with regulatory expectations thus I am responsible for the Inspection Readiness Program and actively involved as a member of back room during regulatory inspections.In addition I cooperate with the team to oversee the documental system as System Documental Administrator

The role comprises all the aspects related to audits and inspections. During the stay at the sites I am the reference for lead auditors, inspectors and their teams in order to provide them with answers belonging to GMP processes and activities carried out by the CDMO. Furthermore I am responsible to coordinate and collaborate with the several teams involved and which, where confirmed, deviations have been found for in order to provide auditors/inspectors with an adequate CAPA plan in accordance with the required timing.As part of a QA, where needed, I am also required to collaborate with the other QA departments especially in the management of change requests, complaints and creation of PQR.

During my stay at the Arvato's Italian site I was hired as responsible person; my activities comprised the creation of the entire local QMS in accordance with the global European one. Furthermore I was involved in those typical GxP activities affecting the product quality i.e. training, management of deviations and CAPA, complaints and recalls, creation of SOP, audits and self inspections, management of Italian traceability system ("bollini" system) in conjunction with Italian MoH.
