Dr. David Kim is the Medical Director in Austin, TX. He is an award-winning, double board-certified, Harvard-trained pain management physician and anesthesiologist. He completed both his residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where he was awarded the Donald P. Todd Award for Excellence in Pain Management. During his training tenure, Harvard University was ranked the #1 Medical School in the Country and his residency was ranked the #1 Hospital in the Nation per U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll. His fellowship program has been ranked the Top Pain Management Fellowship in the Nation by both the American Pain Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.​He holds three separate Ivy League Degrees, including the two aforementioned from Harvard, a Bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master’s from the University of Colorado and a Doctorate from the University of Illinois in Chicago. While at Harvard, Dr. Kim worked as a consultant for healthcare ventures and startups in reducing societal opioid burden and establishing national standards for pain excellence.Dr. Kim specializes in a variety of pain conditions including neck/back pain, joint pain, headaches/migraines, neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, post-surgical pain, and pain after accidents/injury. He utilizes cutting-edge techniques such as ultrasonography, Botox, regenerative medicine, kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation, and minimally-invasive spinal procedures.​His clinical approach is founded on doing what is right for the patient, as if he is treating a friend, colleague, or loved one.
