I'm Deanna Taylor, a seasoned education professional with over 20+ years of experience in the field. My journey has been marked by a commitment to driving positive change in education. As an advocate for educators, I've successfully advised, mentored, and provided consultative services, consistently achieving organizational goals.My educational journey includes a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, a Master's in Educational Administration, and a Bachelor's in Biology. For the past six years, I’ve been the Founder and Principal Consultant at Interactive Learning Solutions, LLC. I've been instrumental in shaping learning solutions that cater to the professional needs of organizations. I've collaborated with esteemed institutions, including the Smithsonian Science Education Center and Voorhees College, contributing as a mentor, team lead, program evaluator, and content developer for master's level STEAM courses.My tenure as a Teacher at Richland School District Two allowed me to not only shape curriculum but also serve as a leader and mentor for initiatives like the STEM Education Summit. Additionally, I secured grants for implementing innovative programs, showcasing my dedication to hands-on, real-world education.My experience as the Director of Human Resources at Clarendon School District One was marked by the successful establishment and implementation of human capital goals. I played a pivotal role in teacher recruitment and development, accreditation processes, and policy compliance. My achievements include the implementation of the district's ADEPT plan, overseeing teacher certification, and implementing a successful recruiting strategy that saved the district over $200,000.In my role as a Grant Coordinator for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) at Clarendon School District One, I coordinated the implementation of grants, managing a budget of over $300,000. Throughout my career, I've been actively involved in publications and presentations, sharing insights on topics ranging from single-gender education effects to implementing academic standards.
