About Debbie Kennedy

As the Director of Culinary Medicine at Rouxbe Online Culinary School and President of the Food Coach Academy, I combine my passion for food and nutrition to help people improve their health and well-being through cooking and eating. I have 30 years of experience as a chef and PhD nutritionist, working with various institutions and organizations in the field of nutrition and wellness, such as Columbia Presbyterian, Yale-PRC, Cornell, Tufts, and Dartmouth Hitchcock.I am also the CEO of The Food Coach Academy and Culinary Rehab, where I consult, teach, and coach in the field of Culinary Medicine and Food is Medicine, a science-based approach that blends the art of cooking with the principles of nutrition. I have authored seven books on this topic, including The Culinary Medicine Textbook, which I developed in partnership with a dozen chefs and more than 35 nutritionists. My mission is to change the health of this world one delicious bite at a time.
