I am a psychotherapist and Occupational Health Specialist in private practice. My doctorate degree (Psy.D) is from California Southern University. I have a MA from the Adler School of Professional Psychology, Vancouver and Chicago campuses. My internship was completed in a Multidisciplinary Pain Program. Dring my formal education my research for my MA focused on Compassion Fatigue and Secondary Traumatic Stress in Health care. My doctorate project focused on organization health. As a result I published my doctorate research in a book titled "In Harm's Way Professional Health Care Workers at Risk: A critical argument for organizational change. I have presented at provincial, national and regional conferences and have a background in working with HIV/AIDS care, injured and traumatized workers, chronic pain, substance abuse treatment, Family therapy and training in the field. My private practice Dr. Denise E. Hall Inc. focuses on Mind/Body approaches to life transitions, work stress and chronic pain management. Raven Work Health and Career Consulting focuses on career development, professional stress and burnout, vocational consulting and vocational rehabilitation services including medical legal assessments. My professional development includes Clinical Hypnosis, Energy Psychology, Narrative, Intergenerational Family Therapy, Solution-focused and Adlerian Approaches.
