About Dr. Dhrubo Bhattacharya

I am a polymer scientist and chemical engineer with over 35 years of experience. I received my Ph.D. in Chem.Engg from McMaster University, Canada. This was preceded by an M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur, and a B.E. (Hons) from NIT Raipur all in Chem.Engg. I have specialized in polymer science and engineering and have vast experience in manufacturing, process simulation, optimization and control of polymer production processes. I was a Tech.Counselor with Johnson and Johnson USA and have worked closely with General Electric, USA where I contributed to transferring and implementing advanced technologies to an Indian company. Over the last few decades, I have worked to develop innovative polymeric coatings with an unmatched combination of properties for both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates, earning over 10 patents and copyrights in the process. I strive to apply polymer science and engineering, focusing on sustainable and high-performance solutions for various industries.
