Former member of Arise Alliance Development team.Co-founder with Estfana Johnson and Dr. Brian Livesy of Critical Memory Integration (CMI), a neurologically based reconceptualization to address traumatic experiences. Advances made in previous research were a starting place to target the Critical Memories that maintain trauma networks. The CMI development team further explored these observations. What emerged was a true integration of evidenced-based experiential approaches into a compact and coherent system. Trained and studied multiple modalities including, EMDR, Equine assisted Psychotherapy, EFT, along with psychadellic psychotherapies, psilocybin, MAPS trained, ketamine assisted psychotherapy trained and provider. Previously USF Office of Professional Development: Military Trauma Training Programs. Provide Trauma training for active duty Military mental health professionals in the use of ART for combat trauma, combat stress, and Military sexual trauma. Clinical Director for USF ART research and clinical research consultant at Mayo Clinic. Specialize in the treatment of trauma and program development. With 20+ years of mental health experience and a trauma expert, works privately with active duty military, Veterans, and Veterans’ organizations like Hooah, Warrior Wellness, Brian Bill Foundation, Lone Survivor Foundation, and Camaraderie Foundation to address the needs of present and past service members with PTSD, anxiety, depression, marital conflict, and transition. In practice, special attention is on the SF and SOF community, including junior and senior operators, with particular attention to mild TBI and the physiology of trauma. Sixteen years of teaching at the university level with experience in designing online curricula, training, and supervising master and doctoral-level therapists. Teaches mindfulness, relaxation, and mediation skills. Provides human performance coaching for mental and emotional clarity and works with athletes, artists, professionals, attorneys, financial advisors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.
