Dr. Donald Corenman is a nationally recognized orthopedic spine specialist, researcher and Colorado spine surgeon. He started his career, first, in chiropractics as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1978 after attending California State University at Northridge. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Corenman completed a residency in Chiropractic Orthopedics and was in private practice for five years. 

His passion for spine research and medicine changed his focus, and in 1988 he completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He spent the next five years as an orthopedic surgeon during his residency at the Detroit Medical Center. 

He completed a fellowship in Spinal Disorders at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and was a professor at the university. For more than three years, he lectured and taught courses related to spine disorders and conditions, as well as surgery and treatment options to fellows and residents. In the years that followed, Dr. Corenman continued his education by researching spinal conditions and writing medical journals and articles relating to his findings. He is an expert in conditions such as spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, isthmic spondylolysthesis and spinal cord injuries resulting from traumatic and sports accidents. Dr. Corenman has been a Colorado spine surgeon and spine expert in Vail, Colorado for the past 12 years practicing at the Steadman Clinic- Vail Spine Institute, the premier sports medicine clinic for recovery of sports and spinal injuries. He is a physician for the U.S. Ski Team.
