Manage the study milestones and project staff. Responsible for the smooth functioning of the PHRMC project components namely, the verbal autopsy study and the household survey.Keep abreast of current developments in research of relevance to the Institute; providing a source of information to other researchers within the InstituteCollaborate with other Institute staff in further academic researchLiaise with local, national and international researchers, so as to establish the Institute within relevant research networksEnsure that research being conducted is congruent with world best practice.Assist with preparation of submissions to potential funding sourcesLiaise with off-site collaborators

Responsible for building capacity in clinical care and services related to HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Lead the development of clinical care and services (VCT, PPTCT, STIs, ARTs, community preparedness for ARTs, HIV/AIDS & TB and other clinical services) across Alliance programmes in Andhra Pradesh; promote innovation and good practice; manage capacity development & technical support to programmes & partners; provide technical expertise to support policy and programme work; and, support new programme development.
