My mission is to build thriving communities through innovative programming, fundraising initiatives, partnerships, and executive leadership.My extensive experience across community-based, faith-based, nonprofit, and mental health sectors have allowed me to form unique insights into how to serve a diverse range of stakeholders.During my 10 years with Alliance for Positive Change, I had the opportunity to launch new teams, creating the Development and Planning function and surpassing the organization's initial fundraising goals by 50%. I regularly formed strategic partnerships with world-class companies to drive nonprofit growth, building strategic alliances with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 highly-regarded companies including Amazon, Gilead Sciences, Janssen, Johnson & Johnson, Macy’s, McDonalds, Merck, Nationwide, Salesforce, Target, and ViiV Healthcare. Also, I cultivated trust with Boards and C-Suite leaders, influencing decision-making and flourishing culture.I am proud to have help transform Alliance into a culture of qualitative and quantitative data-driven decision-making, developing data tracking systems across the Executive, Finance, Client Services, Data, and Prevention divisions. Also, I created a comprehensive fundraising strategy across individuals, corporations, foundations, and events, growing our active donor portfolio from 10 to 500+ and introducing a Salesforce database to manage data. I am known as a leader throughout the communities that I serve, developing programs including Tapping Into Your Inner Diva & Swagg Workshop, empowering and educating ~2000 young adults since 2010 in Brooklyn, NY across topics including HIV/AIDS, incarceration, self-love, self-esteem, and wellness. My pivotal community leadership includes leading scholarship selection, fundraising, and event planning as a previous Board Member for the Emigrant Savings Bank Community Scholarship and Dining Out For Life. I am an Ordained Evangelist and Chaplain who continuously expands my skill base, completing programs including a PhD, MS in Nonprofit Management, International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Self-Love Coach, Board Works’ Board Development Program, and Fordham University’s Nonprofit Leaders Executive Education.Let's connect LinkedIn community members.
