Responsible for the Division's Risk Management, Issue Identification programs and Environmental Scanning.As the Risk Analyst, I am responsible for developing and implementing the risk management program that will identify divisional risks, assess appropriate actions, implement recommendations, and monitor progress and ongoing risks while working closely with senior leadership and management within the Division.I am also responsible for leading the Division's environmental scanning process used to assess the external environment to find trends that may impact the regulation of gaming and liquor industries. On a regular basis I investigated complaints on gaming and liquor matters and conducted investigations to determine the eligibility of applicants and licensees. Apprised licensees and the public of legislation and policy and conducted educational/training sessions. Over the years I have established and maintained a close liaison with other departments and jurisdictions to maintain an effective working relationship.
