I own a PhD in Engineering of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics Department at University of Patras. I have experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) working as an individual as well as a part of a multi- disciplinary team during my time as a post-doctoral researcher. My research activity is CFD analysis of innovative solar collector with integration of Phase Change Materials, and the proposal of the optimum geometry of a horizontal axis tidal turbine rotor. My doctoral thesis was experimental and computational investigation of aerodynamic behavior of wind turbine blades in heavy rain. My research activities include Computational and Experimental Fluid Dynamics, Renewable Energy Sources, Wind and Solar Energy Systems, Tidal Turbines, Aerodynamics, Hydrodynamics, Multiphase Flows, Heat Transfer, Phase Change Materials, Computer Code Development, Energy Saving, Energy Design and Air Conditioning of Buildings and Pumps.I have been awarded an Heracleitus II PhD Fellowship for her doctoral thesis and a scholarship from Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) for postdoctoral research in Greece. I participated in research projects funding by General Secretariat for Research and Technology and BIG SOLAR SA. Moreover, I am a member of Technical Chamber of Greece and reviewer of 11 Scientific Journals.I am comfortable in dealing with numerical data to understand problems and solve them. I tend to be factual and I use evidence to support their hypothesis. I am curious and I like to explore new ideas and approaches. When faced with a problem, I tend to think out of the box and I enjoy considering a wide range of alternatives. I am someone who feels at ease when connecting with new people, I display empathy towards colleagues and I find it important to listen to their points of view. I like to involve others in key decisions and plans and to give credit where it is.I pay attention to details and I enjoy delivering work that is of a high standard. I tend to be systematic, methodical and organised and I deliver within deadlines. My co-workers say that I am reliable and driven to achieve my goals.I am comfortable with working in rapidly changing environments. I enjoy discovering new cultures and approaches and the learning opportunities these bring. I view failures as learning opportunities and an intrinsic part of the route to success.https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=ZkfpUGgAAAAJ&hl=el&oi=sra
