With more than 16 years of experience as the CEO and Director of clinical services at The Psyclinic, one of the largest psychiatric outpatient practices in southeast Texas, I am passionate about providing quality mental health care to diverse populations and creating innovative programs that address various needs and challenges. I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Cairo Medical School, Egypt, a Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Houston Baptist University, currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.As a mental health expert and innovator, I have led a team of more than 40 mental health providers and supporting staff, established a Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program that achieved top rating in the state of Texas, published a mental health wellness magazine (Concur) to fight stigma and educate the public, and developed several successful mental health programs, such as the You are Beautiful program, Camp I CAN, and ADHD from A to Z. I have also demonstrated strong public speaking, analytical, and interfaith relations skills through various engagements and partnerships. My mission is to empower people to overcome their mental health challenges and live fulfilling lives.
