I work for a sustainable world at Enrev and guppy.es. I develop technology to bring electric cars to a wider range of people, increasing these cars flexibility so they can meet any mobility needs while making their price affordable for anyone who wants to have a car.Committed to the sustainability of our planet, I studied Industrial Engineering (Spanish degree combining Electrical and Mechanical Engineering) at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), in Barcelona, where I had my first contact with power electronics and renewable energy. After I graduated, I moved to Seville in order to take part in an industrial PhD program with Abengoa, a Spanish engineering company devoted to renewable energy. While in this industrial PhD program, I obtained a Master's degree in Power Systems from the University of Seville and a PhD degree in Power Systems from the UPC. In the meantime, I was awarded a 'la Caixa' grant to study abroad, which resulted in a ten-month research stay at the University of Waterloo, Canada. In this way, I have been working on research and development of alternative energy sources and applications for more than six years, giving special emphasis to power electronics, electric machines, energy storage systems, power systems, and the interaction of different kinds of devices connected to power grids.Furthermore, I have been lucky enough to study a degree in Mathematics at the UPC—simultaneous with my degree in Industrial Engineering within the UPC Interdisciplinary Higher Education Centre—and to take part in many mathematical and programming contests—both before and during my time at university. This, no doubt, has allowed me to acquire additional knowledge, but, above all, also to stimulate my ability to find a solution to any problem.
