I recruited and trained a clinical team of up to 24 interns. I had 4-7 individual supervisees, ran two group supervision sessions per week, and coordinated the didactic training for our CAPIC site.

I supervised interns in individual and group supervision and managed the daily operations of our center during our search for a new Executive Director.

Core Faculty in the Psy.D. program. Teaching Critical Thinking, Human Sexuality, and Advanced Clinical Practicum.

This program is a sliding scale, outpatient, mental health clinic. We serve a broad range of clients including children, adults, couples, and families. I supervise 5 interns.

This program was an intensive outpatient treatment program contracted with Santa Clara County. We served adults in various stages of recovery, many court mandated to treatment. I managed the program, managed a case load of 16-20 clients, and ran groups.

In this capacity I taught Critical Thinking, Scholarly Writing, and Human Sexuality.

As Adjunct Faculty I have taught the following courses: "Dissertation Seminar" which introduces students to the dissertation process, "Scholarly Writing", "Critical Theories/Critical Thinking", and "Miniproposal" a course which assists students in writing the first draft of the first three chapters of the dissertation. I have also served as a Teaching Assistant (which included lectures) in two sections of a graduate level introduction to Human Sexuality course.

As Dissertation coordinator I track students through the dissertation process, advise students about dissertation committee formation and help them create time lines for dissertation completion, participate in the graduation committee, coordinate student progress and timely completion with accounting and the registrar, and collaborate on policy creation with the Dissertation Director who is a Core faculty member.

Track and advise dissertation students, coordinate faculty membership on dissertation committees, dissemination of dissertation information to students and faculty, create budget projections, answer questions of ITP School Editors regarding APA and ITP style, review edited proposals, and edit dissertation resources and materials.

Individual caseload of 5-9 clients. Led a Men’s Process Group, a Relapse Prevention Group, and co-facilitated a third Process Group each with 4-10 group members per week. Duties included assessment interviews, case presentations, progress notes, cooperative collaboration with colleagues, referrals for additional services, and criminal justice system correspondence. Population served included males and females, ages 23-71, addiction disorders, dual-diagnosis, personality disorders, severe mental illness, sexual diversity, and ethnic diversity including Hispanic/Hispanic American, Filipino, Samoan, Native American, and African American clients.

Primary placement in Hawthorne House, a residential psychosocial rehabilitation facility for clients with severe mental illness including dual-diagnosis clients and personality disorders. Created and lead groups, met with clients individually, and developed relationships with clients in the milieu. Also provided counseling for higher functioning clients at an outpatient clinic. Population served included males and females, clients aged 18-59, sexual diversity, and ethnic diversity including Hispanic, Samoan, African American, Japanese American, and Native American.
