Developed integrated research plans including load impact analysis and customer surveys, secured funding of $1.25M, selected vendor via competitive bidding process, facilitated data quality control and delivery, stakeholder review process, overall project management, and contract administration. Compiled monthly corporate goal reports for the Customer Service Business Unit and prepared the Senior Vice President to discuss any variances at the Utility Operating Committee executive meeting.Completed econometric billing analysis of all small business customers in the SCE service territory to assess response to seasonal price differentiation of $0.046/kWh (35%). Analysis included more than 400,000 customers and 7 million observations. A reduction in energy usage of approximately 1.25% during the summer pricing season was estimated. Customers with an average summer monthly bill of less than $50 generally did not respond to the price signal. Evaluated In-Home Display Pilot via econometric billing analysis and provided guidance on experimental design for larger scale subsequent deployments. A foundational analysis methodology was developed, and program managers were educated about the need to consider research requirements early in the program design process. Led ad hoc projects in support of executive initiatives and annual business planning and benchmarking activities.

Collaborated with regulators, internal stakeholders, and the other California Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs) in the research design, vendor selection, technical review, and contract management of Demand Response (DR) program load impact measurement and evaluation studies.Facilitated bi-weekly conference calls with the statewide Demand Response Measurement & Evaluation Committee (DRMEC) consisting of representatives from the three IOUs, the CPUC, and the CEC. Authored the PLP report section demonstrating temperature strongly correlated with load impacts, potentially allowing for minimization of high cost telemetry equipment.
