I am a Professor at Tranzo, the Scientific center for care and welfare, Tilburg University. My research focuses on recognition of the unusual and the use of routine healthcare data for this purpose. My case studies concern the healthcare chain, primary and secondary immunodeficiency and Down syndrome.I am Coordinator Data Science at the Jeroen Bosch Hospital and Researcher at the Elisabeth Tweesteden Hospital.Interests: Patient care: Immunodeficiency (children & adults), Down Syndrome.Clinical research: Diagnosis and awareness of immunodeficiency; Hypogammaglobulinemia also called 'Unclassified Antibody Deficiency'; Down Syndrome.Project management: the combination of patient care, research and business projects.
