Remote Sensing feasibility study for managing and mitigating invasive plant species in Capitol Reef National Park utilizing satellite, aerial, and LiDAR data.

Oversee entire claims estimation and repairs process for eight body shops from beginning to end in collaboration with 14-15 estimators. Audit quality and accuracy of estimations written by shop estimators to include work quality, repair documentation, deadline requirements, and customer service. • Performed research regarding automobile manufacturers’ requirements and ensured federal guidelines were followed for any safety item repairs.• Trained shop estimators on companies’ guidelines and standards for estimate quality, accuracy, and instructions to use Mitchell Estimating and Connect software for part searches and documentation. • Completed a break-even analysis and evaluated cost-effectiveness of decision to repair or total a vehicle.• Delivered customers explanations of technical estimations in a comprehensible manner.• Provided formal performance scores, both written and verbal, reporting on good performance, made recommendations for improvements, and reviewed action items to be addressed.• Conducted bi-monthly meetings with managers to review shop performance, scores, and develop action plans to improve performance.• Monitored 80 - 100 repair plans per month from start to finish to include audits, identifying risks, work progress, solving problems, and supplemental damages and costs.• Prepared reports on audit of estimates to determine if changes need to be made, identify opportunities and strengths of estimate writers, and ranking in comparison to other shops.• Provided explanations of total loss valuation reports and negotiated settlement amounts with customers. • Volunteered to assist other inspectors with total loss evaluation reports to determine value of totaled vehicles based on market data.

Managed all of progressive work in a high-volume top-tier direct repair facility. Performed multi-line estimations for automobiles, motorcycles, trailers, and ATV/UTVs. Negotiated with shops regarding repair costs and timeframe for completion.
