I ensure tasks given to me by the owner of the company are completed in a safe and timely manner.These tasks range from a few hours to several months in length. These tasks include:• Excavating leaking water lines with compact or full size excavators in close proximity to utilities whileensuring no utilities are damaged. Assisting other companies with the repair of these lines and thenback filling the holes with a skid steer or backhoe• Fusing HDP pipe with pipe fusing machines above and below ground• Clearing land with a bulldozer or excavator• Maintaining or making new roads with a motor grader• Brush hogging steep dams with tractors• Operating a paving machine to pave driveways or portions of roadways that were dug up to repairutilities• Trenching ditches with a ditch witch or skid steer, installing water lines, and back filling the ditch• Erecting pond dams while working with the Army Corps of Engineers to ensure the dam is being builtin accordance with their regulations• Installing storm water drains and pipes• Erecting building pads while working with soil technicians to ensure proper compaction on these pad

To complete a daily list given to me by the owner of the company that would include• Cutting grass with zero turn lawnmowers• Trimming shrubs and cleaning up the trimmings and other debris. Then returning these beds to pristinecondition• Installing new beds with various flowers, shrubs, and trees• Erecting retaining walls• Putting out rip rap to stop erosion• Removing storm debris after wind or hail damage occurre

I arrived at work thirty minutes early to review the workload with the first shift supervisor and determinewhat my objectives and priorities for the shift would be. These priorities included:• Finding metal i-beams in an outside lay down yard• Getting these i-beams inside the workshop and into a designated workstation• Tasking a fitter to fit gusset plates and various other metal components• Tasking a checker to ensure proper fitment of these plates and components• Tasking a welder to weld these plates and components permanently onto the i-beams• Tasking a checker to ensure proper weld size and uniformity• Determining if the i-beams were complete and ready for the next department or if they required nondestructive testing before proceeding• Once complete, ensuring the completed job and accompanying paper work were sent to the nextdepartment• Ensuring that the employees in my department were working diligently, safely, and upholding thestandards of quality set by the compan

Throughout the shift I would check in on these marines to ensure they were completing their task and had all parts and tools needed• I ensured marines were available to support launching and catching aircraft throughout our shift.I would also be available to troubleshoot any issues that occurred during aircraft startup and launch,attempt to solve these issues, and determine if the aircraft was safe for flight or down for maintenance• I reviewed all maintenance action forms continually through my shift signed off by the collateral duty inspectors on my shift and ones left over from the previous day shift. Myself and the day crew supervisor worked together to keep our shop at zero invalid maintenance action forms at all times• I ensured all my marines were up to date on all qualifications, medical requirements, and free of any issues that would affect their deployability
