I am a Game Design and Development graduate with a minor in Creative Writing from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Most of my experience is in C# and JavaScript, however, I have also worked with Java and C++. It should be no surprise that I have a passion for making video games. I love the whole process from brainstorming and implementation to ideation and all the complex challenges it brings. I have worked as a Game Developer/Writer in an internship position on a game called Changeling. This is a VR game being made in Unreal Engine 4. As I mentioned, I worked both as a game developer working with my team to create and implement compelling gameplay that fit the narrative and themes of the game, as well as a writer, drafting scripts and narrative moments to bring the story and characters to life. Currently, I work at iD Tech as an Online Private Instructor. My responsibilities include working one on one with students from ages 7-16 and teaching them their requested topics, creating unique lesson plans that ensure each student is given their best opportunity to learn, and working with other instructors to improve our teaching techniques and topics to cover in lessons. Finally, I am currently in the development of my own game. It hasn't been long since I started, so it's still a ways away before it's polished enough to publish, but I am making strides in both its development and my understanding of game development as a whole. I am doing my best to use this opportunity as a chance to experience all the challenges that come with game development as I'm tasking myself with every job, designer, developer, artist, etc.
Listed skills include Visual Studio, C#, Html5, Css, and 4 others.
