Summary of Work History:I have a diverse and dynamic work history that began in the construction industry at Gohman Mechanical. There, I quickly recognized the need for more efficient data entry processes and discovered Microsoft Access, which led me to explore software development. Motivated by my passion for creating efficient systems, I pursued drafting and AutoCAD classes, eventually transitioning to the software development world. My love for .NET and SQL Server motivated me to obtain a degree in Computer Science from Portland State University, despite the challenges of balancing work, family, and studies.At Gohman Mechanical, I excelled in IT support and became an Oregon Mechanical State Code expert, assisting contractors and engineering firms with code compliance during project inspections. I recently transitioned to a software engineering role at SMArtX Advisory, where I gained experience in load-balancing tools and contributed to developing microservices for handling stock exchange market data. My ability to work independently and as part of a team and my dedication to learning and problem-solving skills make me a valuable asset in collaborative environments focused on building exceptional software solutions. Despite facing challenges, I remain excited about the next chapter in my software engineering journey.
