As a veteran and MBA candidate, I'm eager to apply my broad skillset to Management and Strategy Consulting. Success in the Navy's Nuclear Power program, in Operations Management at a startup, and as an MBA Co-op in Corporate Development give me a solid platform to navigate through ambiguity and accomplish goals. Additionally, with bachelors degrees in Physics and Economics, I have a foundation to apply first-principles to a wide array of the complex problems that humans and companies face.In tandem with full-time work, I spent 2 years as the Seattle chapter leader for The Mission Continues (TMC), a national 501.c.3. As chapter leader, I led projects in Seattle relating to veteran homelessness, food insecurity, and youth and community safety. Working to deliver solutions to community stakeholders taught me to be client facing, and grew my passion for developing solutions that meet client goals. My experience in the Navy and as a leader with TMC has given me project management experience, which I believe will be an asset as a contributor. As an end-user and administrator of Basecamp, Asana, and Jira, I possess a strong understanding of how these tools enhance project management and collaboration with teams or clients. In addition to project management software experience, I have taken courses from college and LinkedIn in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python. Industry experience has made me proficient in using Google and Microsoft Suite, and an expert in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.I am actively seeking exciting roles and would welcome the opportunity to work with a firm that shares my values and commitment to excellence, community, and diversity. If you are looking for a motivated and results-driven strategist with a unique background and skillset, please don't hesitate to reach out.Outside of work, I enjoy staying fit through playing team sports, especially ultimate frisbee and netball. I love spending time at the park or lake with my wife and our two Boston terriers, Henry and Mikasa. I am an avid reader and enjoy listening to audiobooks on topics such as psychology, economics, and history. In our free time, my wife and I love hosting dinner parties and game nights with friends and family, creating lasting memories that we cherish.
