At Fluor, I performed roles including equipment engineering and data management software.In a Design Engineer role on the Sasol Lake Charles Chemicals Project from 2013-2016, I designed heat exchangers (shell & tube, air cooler, plate and frame, and some specialty plate-types). I was responsible for initial thermal design and check rating, reviewing quotations for purchase, bid evaluation, and review of vendor drawings and documents. A major component of my work included interdepartmental communication and logistics that go along with the purchase, vendor coordination, inspection, and timely delivery of the equipment to the project site.From Fall 2016 to Fall 2019 I was part of Fluor's data management efforts and supported the customization of a workflow-oriented database software. This was a full time role where our small team modeled the company's engineering design workflow in a database software so that design data can be captured and reported on as the data is developed. I did everything in this role including modeling Fluor's engineering design workflow in the database system, programming in Microsoft Visual Basic, establishment of data governance best practices, and documentation and user training worldwide.

At SpaceX I was in a Proposal Coordinator role where I would ensure that the company was able to answer every technical requirement in commercial solicitations. In 2012, I coordinated a proposal that secured a launch contract for NASA's Jason-3 satellite, which was launched in January 2016. Typical responsibilities included interpreting requirements, writing technical answers, creating graphics, developing mission schedules, pricing, and coordinating these details with each engineering department. I was responsible for editing, finalizing, packing, and delivering the final proposal. I worked with a variety of customers, the largest being NASA and the United States Air Force. Our proposal development team set standards for best practices for developing proposals at SpaceX, which had previously never been done at the company.
