Chief Superintendent Of Distribution
CurrentShipping and Warehouse Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee the daily customer shipping activities within our Lancaster production warehouse and Distribution facility. Ensure established processes and procedures are adhered to and operational requirements are met.• Monitor daily inventory levels within Our Production and distribution facilities and coordinate as necessary the transfer of product from Lancaster to ensure sufficient stock is available. Communicate to necessary personnel for inventory variances.• Monitor related activities within the Lancaster facility ensuring the activities of off-site staff matches the goal of maintaining accurate inventory balances by adhering to established processes and procedures.• Monitor daily staffing levels / assignments and adjust as necessary to ensure all daily scheduled activities are completed and review daily activities to identify areas for potential improvement.• Perform and audit month end physical inventory and cycle counts as scheduled to ensure physical inventories matches book inventory. Report to management reasons for variances.• Maintain, update, and distribute as necessary all related department reports which track performance and safety including the fleet maintenance record for OSHA audits and periodic review. Identify any trends and communicate to upper management and staff as necessary.• Prepare, update, implement and manage operational procedures. When necessary, intervene and provide direction and leadership when issues arise.Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise employees in the Production Shipping and distribution departments. Responsible for training employees, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with company policies, safety rules and all applicable laws.
