Growing up in a family who owns a small restaurant in a local community, I learned the fundamentals and importance of customer service at a young age. For over five years I have worked at my family restaurant, expanding my skills in working with customers and growing a strong appreciation for my local community. This background, in combination with my love for numbers, compounding interest, and different investing vehicles, has sparked my interest to pursue a career in the public accounting and financial services industry. At the current stage in my career path, I am attending Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, an institution in this local community I have grown to love. I recently graduated undergraduate studies in May of 2024 with a 4.0 GPA and a B.S.B.A., in Accounting & Finance. In this program I was able to turn my interests into skill sets by thriving in various courses, such as intermediate accounting, federal income taxes, and business finance. Currently, I am continuing to attend Saint Joseph's College of Maine to obtain an M.B.A. in Leadership with elective courses in accounting and corporate financial management. In addition, I am an aspiring certified public accountant who has begun exam preparations. Following obtaining a CPA license I intend to use this as leverage to elevate my path towards receiving a certified financial planner (CFP) license.
