Creation and coordination of new events as well as recurring events for the Hinsdale County area. These include Winter Whiteout, Brew-Ski, Volunteer Celebration, Packer Days 5k, 4th of July, Town Wide Yard Sale, Ducky Derby, Stick Horse Rodeo, OHV Rally & Festival, Oktoberfest & Fall Festival, Christmas in Lake City and more. Additionally help local businesses with open houses and weekly BINGO games in the summer.

Customer Interactions (face-to-face communication about issues or questions), phone calls, ticket sales, end of show cash settlement. Redesigned the settling process to be quick, easy and connected and trained other staff to use this new system.

Started off with no skill in the industry. I quickly gained the skills to manage the shop on my own. I could make all the food and beverage options and I learned to communicate with customers in a hospitable manner.

Started the job off as a prep cook. By the middle of the first summer had moved my way to main cook and was training other employees. Stayed here for three years and always tried to make work as efficient as possible for the business and the employees.

I started off as a youth worker in 2009, and worked building trails and doing community service projects around the town. During my second year I got promoted to youth leader and helped manage the other youth in these projects.
