Implements and coordinates programs that facilitate economic growth and development within the City of Burleson pertaining to industrial, commercial and retail businesses. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, directing, managing and overseeing activities and operations of the Economic Development Department including business recruitment, retention, and expansion; community development; budget and financial operations; implementation and oversight of the economic development strategic plan, coordination and collaboration with community/economic development partners.
