Oversaw and coordinated all aspects of media relations for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a policy research institute with more than 60 experts and staff in 14 distinct programs conducting policy-related research. Led weekly communications team meetings to determine upcoming priorities and the allocation of team resources, as well as monthly meetings with program directors to strategically align Wilson Center products and experts' analysis with media coverage on current events. Regular duties included placing op-eds, pitching expert analysis to broadcast and print media, and linking journalists with relevant experts. Proactively worked with the entire communications team to produce and promote the most relevant content for Wilson's website, publications, and audio/visual productions.
