As Controller of Mortensen Dental Partners, a network of over 115 offices in nine states, I oversee the Accounting, Finance, and Payroll functions. I manage a team that is constantly evaluating and improving both internal processes, as well as those that interface with practitioners, to ensure that they can focus on outstanding patient care. At the same time, these processes and oversight I lead help to ensure compliance for all regulatory entities, along with our annual audit and valuation. Through these great competencies, we have realized a confidence for investors and lenders alike to facilitate compound growth during my tenure. Additionally, as leader of the annual budgeting process and monthly financial reporting in our open book management, we have brought a new financial competency to facilitate all of our constituents to better understand their business and realize their financial goals.

As Financial Reporting Analyst at ResCare, I oversaw the monthly close and consolidation process for a $1.6 million public (at the time) company reporting directly to the Controller. In addition to multiple responsibilities revolving around various management reports, I was also the main point of contact for external auditors to facilitate the audit process and drafted quarterly and annual SEC financial reports.
