A recent Cal State University of Long Beach graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Policy, I demonstrate commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices. I have been equipped with a solid foundation in environmental policies and regulatory compliance and am eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to drive positive changes within the environment to make a meaningful difference.During my academic journey, I gained skills in environmental awareness, NEPA/CEQA, remote sensing, collection and analysis of ecological data, land management, and many others. My academic projects include researching the pCO2 within a river to determine if it sequesters or is a source of carbon, this enhanced my technical skills by collecting samples of water and analyzing the data to determine if the river was a source or a sink. Another project I had the opportunity to participate in was writing an environmental assessment on a lithium mine in Nevada, USA, where we analyzed the environmental consequences and their potential effects. Throughout my education, I was able to gain insights into the interconnectedness of environmental systems and the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to solving these complex issues.Whether collaborating with local communities to implement conservation initiatives or promoting sustainability practices within organizations, I am committed to creating a more environmentally sustainable future.
