During advancement through ranks as roustabout to driller, I developed understanding of overall drilling rig systems, including power and mechanical systems, rotating equipment, mud circulating system, safety equipment, and BOP systems.- Prepare the IADC drilling report. -Actively support safety and environmental programs.-Actively QA/QC equipment, confirm proper measurement of tubulars, and coordinates with crane operator to ensure proper pick up.-Maintain and monitor proper down-hole conditions while informing all parties of progress throughout drilling and completion operations. Ensure all rig floor personnel demonstrates high level of competency in well control management.-Attained high level of experience with top drive systems, pipe racking systems, iron roughnecks and hydraulic pipe handlers. Supervise and participate in both routine and non-routine maintenance and improvement projects, including upgrade of mud handling equipment, deployment, testing and recovery of BOP system, and removal/re-installation of drawworks, crown blocks, traveling blocks and top drive system. -Provide yearly assessments of personnel and assist in preparing crew members for positions of increasing responsibility through active involvement in their training plans & career development.-Ensure pre-job meeting is carried out for all non-routine drilling operations. -Ensure the Toolpusher is informed on an ongoing basis as to the well program objectives and communicate any changes of plans.-Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements. Assist in well killing operations in an emergency situation.-Other experience includes:-Synthetic-based drilling fluids-Water-based drilling fluids-Completion fluids
