Going through this journey of finding a career in Finance I have experienced and learned many useful skills and useful knowledge from the other jobs I have worked in. Working at my first job at the Pie Shop I learned sales techniques and learned how to keep a shop running by myself. I had the responsibility of answering the phone and answering any questions customers had. I made sure to be included in the company and to know anything that is going on so that I could answer anything that would be thrown at me. This job taught me how to independently run a store and represent a business. Working at Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea I learned how to work with a team and how to properly communicate and work efficiently with other people. I continued to sharpen my sales skills and customer satisfaction skills as I dove into this new job. I currently still work there and have gained a good reputation and relied on when the shop needs someone to come into work or to take care of matters with customers.
